Freud created a ‘Wanted’ poster featuring plain lettering, a black and white image of the stolen work and a generous reward. Only 2500 were printed and posted around Berlin in 2001. It is not known now how many survive. Following the interest in one in Sworders’ October 2020 sale, we are pleased to offer another example.
